The new SAMSUNG SPR-9816 is a PC-based surveillance system that allows monitoring of up to 16 cameras. Real-time speeds up to 480fps provide superior high quality images via MPEG4 compression. This DVR features an Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor with internal SATA hard drive capacity of up to 3TB (750GB x 4).

The SPR-9816 provides users with Hardware Watchdog, an autorecovery system utilized when the system is operating abnormally. For optimal convenience, real-time monitoring and DVR control are available through remote access. Applications requiring additional security measures will benefit from the auto password-check feature. This feature prevents arbitrary manipulation by outside hackers when communicating remotely to change a system setting. Other options included with the SPR-9816 are built in motion detection, PTZ camera control, Image quality adjustments, adjustable monitoring and recording resolutions, (D1, Half D1, CIF) as well as built-in virus protection.
